As part of a five-person senior capstone team at Northeastern University, I contributed to the development of a custom system to improve the fabrication process of microfluidic devices for Dr. Cynthia Hajjal’s research lab. The system streamlined cutting, hole-punching, and bonding processes, increasing overall fabrication efficiency by 94%.
I was responsible for designing, engineering, and 3D-printing the bonding device mechanisms, addressing critical tolerance challenges to ensure precise assembly and reliable bonding. This project showcases my expertise in mechanical design, prototyping, and problem-solving within a collaborative team setting.
